Larimar, also known as Stefilia’s Stone, is a rare variety of the mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic. Its color varies from white to deep blue but is generally light-greenish blue in tone. Note, the pale blue color is photosensitive and fades with time if exposed to too much light and heat.
Its peaceful blue color which is reminiscent of the sea makes Larimar the perfect complement to a room, enhancing the space with the tranquility of the ocean.
