Orange 100% Essential Oil – 1/3 fl oz.,  Aromatherapy Grade

Orange essential oil is produced within the rind of oranges. In contrast to most essential oils, it is a cold-pressed oil extracted as a by-product of orange juice production. Its aroma has become tremendously popular for its ability to refresh the mind and spirit. It is often blended with other essential oils and used to alleviate anxiety, stress and depression as it blends well with patchouli, peppermint, clove and other citrus oils. Orange oil is antibacterial and antiviral as well as a natural detoxifier and digestive aid. It also stimulates the immune system, to help in warding off winter colds and flu. It lessens redness and swelling caused by inflammation when applied topically. Its anti-inflammatory properties also make it an excellent natural pain reliever. It is an anti-microbial, so can be used on cuts and abrasions to prevent infection.

Orange essential oil  is Cheering. With its bright scent and anti-bacterial properties, orange oil makes a great addition to your cleaning regime. A few drops added to white vinegar in a spray bottle will give your kitchen a burst of non-toxic freshness! Orange oil has also become a useful pesticide for those who wish to avoid the harsh scents and abrasive chemicals of commercial insecticides. By combining orange oil with water and witch hazel in a spray bottle you can also easily make your own non-toxic bug spray!  Combined with a carrier oil it is great in massages or worn itself in aroma jewelry associated with the following stones: Carnelian (vitality, motivation, creativity), Citrine (stone of joy and happiness), Amethyst (spiritual happiness and peace).
